Alex began his travel career in 2012, joining TUI as a retail travel consultant before moving to a similar role with Thomas Cook. Since 2015, he has built a successful career in local government, gaining broad experience across customer service, systems support and project management.

But travel never left his blood. In 2026, Alex rejoined the industry by founding The Travel Cwtch and becoming part of the Expand Team, bringing tripspiration to travellers from Cardiff, Carmarthenshire and beyond — truly from Wales to the World.

A self-confessed sun worshipper, Alex’s heart belongs to the Greek islands, Fuerteventura and the open seas; whether he’s on a cruise or a city break with family and friends. If the temperature drops below 25 degrees, he’s not impressed!
